First off, I want to thank all of you who have shown me support, come to a show, watched videos on my YouTube channels, given me work, referred me for a job, generously given tips, brought me homemade chocolates š and more that Iām sure Iām forgetting. Your support is appreciated beyond what I can put into words and has helped keep me motivated and moving along on this wild adventure of music as a career!
This year there were many milestones personally and professionally. I got my band project off the ground again and slowly but surely finding work! Iāve been so fortunate to work with some super talented musicians this year. I also learned how incredibly hard it is and nearly impossible to find gigs, communicate with other musicians and keep everyone interested and on the same trajectory. However, I would not take back this experience to collaborate with other musicians and grow as a musician. Thereās nothing better than hearing a song you love to play solo, turn into a full band sound! Itās next level!! I know thereās so much more to improve upon but Iād like to celebrate that win as itās hard to coordinate a group of people, find work, I bought a PA and huge mixing board and still figuring that out, making set lists and learning to play my songs a little faster and upbeat more similar to the original as itās hard to get everyone on the same page otherwise. Iām honestly a complete amateur next to all these very talented and experienced players Iāve been lucky to have back me as a musician, Thank you Chad, Jason, Michael, Nick, Shane, Erik, Dusty, Kody!!
We also had a couple gigs up in Prescott at Fire & Sword Speakeasy and that was a total blast! I hope to continue to find work out of the city to add more adventure to our lives. We had that dream a couple years ago to travel and play music more and it didnāt quite lift off the way Iād hoped as we got busy with other priorities so hopefully weāll have more to add to the calendar this year!
Another milestone has been working with more booking companies. Iām now working with Groove Booking, Sapphire Sky Productions, Paragon Booking, OnStage Productions and GigFinesse. They have made finding work so much easier and have given me so many opportunities that Iām very grateful for! š
My intention for this upcoming year is to have a fresh start in my health, relationships, financial stability & creating a schedule and lifestyle that fulfills me and energizes me so I can continue to make music. Itās a young personās game so I know how important it is to get these things right on a personal level so they translate to my career.
I also hope to add more songs to my repertoire, improve upon my guitar playing, find more time to rehearse, learn how to mix my sound better, widen our reach, and in general be more abundant overall!
Iām still working on adding my 2026 calendar to the site. Itās challenging without internet at home and having access to the right computer to make changes. You can only do so much on a phone. Anyhow, Iāll attach a link to the calendar below in the meantime.
Wishing you an abundant and happy year ahead filled with lots of music and hope to see you in person or hear from you in this new year! Sending love to you all!!
